Nannie Clara "Nancy" Williams, and an unknown friend.

Both teenage girls appear to be in their school uniforms about 1907.

This is vintage photographic cabinet card. A early 20th Century photo card with embossed stamp - L. Earle , LITTLE ROCK, ARK. The print itself is crisp and clean and has been pasted into the oval with embellished decorative scrolls at each end. The paper mount is a heavy thick paper with rounded corners and the edge of the card is angled out with a silver grey edge.

Hand written in pencil by Chester Sustare Sutton on the reverse of card is: "Mama, Nancy Clara Williams (right side) & friend." I have added in pencil more details, which include birth, death, dates and places, with Nannie's parents, marriage date and future (after this photo) husband, Beverly Townsend Sustare. Plus the embossed name on the card front. The card size is 4 3/16". tall by 6" wide.

Date: ? About 1906, because in 1907 the family of William Wright Williams Sr. and Lula Estelle Boatwright migrated to From Little Rock, Arkansas To Hickory, Catawba County, N.C. This is based on the 1910 United States Federal Census of:10 Apr 1910, Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina, Roll: T624_1102; Page: 4B; Enumeration District: 25; Image: 338.; because Wright Williams Jr. , age 3 was born in NC, and Ward Williams is 4 months old. Their residence was: 901 Eighth, Hickory Township, Catawba County, North Carolina.
