1 December, 1610- Juan de Silva gives over his son to a 6 year contract as apprentice of the painter Franciso Pacheco (b.? and died 1644) [himself & his brother were orphaned at an early age, raised by their uncle, also called; Franciso Racheco, a conon of the Seville Cathedral, renowned scholar and theologian who died in 1599.}. Offical signing 17, September, 1611. Diego would reside in the house of Franciso Pacheco.
