Detail: of a red upholstered chair holding a leopard skin pillow. Black spots grouped in rounded clusters on a field of white and yellow tones of soft fur. A sort of double cushioning; to upholster is to cushion, and here on top of that is yet another soft, pleasing to the touch leopard skin fur cushion. |

Detail: STUDIO VIEW. Studio of Carol Sutton at 27 Davies Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, showing a chair for scale, a color- scale chart, and the early painting done in the first studio at Barcelona Triangle Workshop, 1987. The first version of this image. This painting's surface was damaged due to early removal from the "Roperia General; which caused the over or top surface to crack as the under surface was still damp and wet when it was rolled to be removed to the second studio workshop space in the past Infirmary area. I left this area or building due to poor behavior by Sandi Slone and moved after the first week into the Infirmary building. After returning to Toronto, I painted a second version of this image because of the damage that had occurred to the first version That second image is : Green Goya II. |
